After his victory over obscurantism and dictatorship, the White Knight has concealed the Excalibur sword in the Alps, at the center of a magic circle. A few centuries later, the WNO (World Numeric Organization), which rules the world, votes for the first time to grant full powers to Jupiter, i.e. to the artificial intelligence.
Hunted down and taken prisoner, the White Knight finally becomes the Black Knight in the service of the AI.
All recalcitrants are then deported to the brain reconditioning center. Only a group of young people hiking in the mountains escape. They receive by SMS the news of the population’s deportation.
They set up their headquarters in a high-altitude fort to regain their freedom, attempt to establish a democratic governance, despite numerous problems, and succeed in rallying the Black Knight to their cause. They fiercely fight the AI.
